If it helps, this is, I believe, somewhat equivalent SQL:

SELECT
playlist_id, tag, SUM(tag_count) score
FROM
playlist_tag
WHERE
tag like '%query%'
GROUP BY
playlist_id
ORDER BY
score DESC
