Re: Migrations During Development

If the data can be thrown away I would have no hesitation in dropping
the entire database, deleting migrations and starting again.

There will come a point when you need to create a database for the users
to enter their data. From that moment, your dev database and the
production database must be kept in sync. That is when migrations must
change your dev database and be stored in your repo to be applied
against the production database each time you deploy updates to production.

I'm still learning about migrations but I can't see anything wrong with
answering yes to your question.
