Wel;l everyone I guess that I have met with success as far as connecting to the Django server a nd configuring the admin BUT there remains A LOT of things about Django I don't know yet.

django. The django girls one is really great. The one from the
official documentation is shorter. Either one will give you a solid
base for starting to use django.
