Re: MySQL caching_sha2_password

For me below solved the issue. The oracle MYSql connector was refusing to install. The installer was just disappearing and doing nothing.

Command that worked: 

ALTER USER 'username'@'ip_address' IDENTIFIED WITH mysql_native_password BY 'password';
