If you don't want to complicate now, you can create views that return JSON values to get data. For example:
obj = {
"pk":new_file.pk,
"status_file":new_file.status,
}
json = simplejson.dumps(obj, ensure_ascii=False)
return HttpResponse(json, content_type='application/json')
It simpler, but it haven't got a safe way to authenticate your users.
Sorry for English.

I have built the Django server as shown hereI have been trying to build an android app that will allow me to select files on my phone and post them to the the server. All the examples i am finding are for posting data to a php server which i have tried to adapt with little success.If anyone has an ideas how this can be achieved that would be greatly appreciated--
