Re: serve media and static separately for development

Example / recommended procedure for devel edit url.conf like this:

(r'^site_media/(?P<path>.*)$', 'django.views.static.serve',
        {'document_root': '/home/blah/media'}),


And have all media and static files in there. I want to be able to serve multiple locations and avoid having to replace /site_media/  with {{ STATIC_URL }} all throughout my code once it goes to prod.
