django translation error

Why do i get this error?

(django-env)[root@python pythondating]# django-admin.py makemessages -l nl -i settings.py

processing language nl

CommandError: errors happened while running xgettext on .#models.py

xgettext: fout bij openen van './profielen/.#models.py' voor lezen: Bestand of map bestaat niet
