Re: django and fastcgi losing some info in request data

sorry... was doing some more digging.

Seems the problem is exclusive to // scenarios.
doing somethign like this:
http://mydomain/url/http%3A%21%21wikipedia.com/
gives me the proper :
http:!!wikipedia.com
etc etc

so any clue why it would be exclusively stripping out one / from // ?
