simple TCP/IP connection

Can you kindly advice me if this are the right steps to do to create an application that handle a TCP/IP connection as client to a server and show sended and received data in a webpage?

1) model: define fields to be shown in the web-page

2) view: handle socket connection

             send data function

             receive data function

This is the python code that I've been using to connect to server, I can use it in django?
