Here is my view.py and it works for me
def display_data(request,id):
selected_objects = minutes.objects.filter(pk__in=id)
return render(request,'test.html',locals())
selected_objects = minutes.objects.filter(pk__in=id)
return render(request,'test.html',locals())

I assume you're talking about an HTML table and not a database table
here. If you wanted to do this with no javascript you could make each
table row a link to the current page with some query parameters that
filter the data down to just that row.
