Re: custom file validation

Thanks guys,

I switched to using the clean method to check multiple fields however
the file is always None even if I have browsed and found a file I want
to upload.

def clean(self):

cleaned_data = self.cleaned_data
store_id = cleaned_data.get('store_id')
category_id = cleaned_data.get('category_id')
gender = cleaned_data.get('gender')
file = cleaned_data.get('file')

if (store_id != '0' or category_id != '0' or gender !=
'0') and file is None:
msg = 'You must specify a file to upload'
self._errors['file'] = self.error_class([msg])

return cleaned_data
