Python paths work by appending the search name to the end of everything in sys.path. For example, when you do `import django`, it looks for './django.py', './django/__init__.py', '/usr/local/django-trunk/django.py', '/usr/local/django-trunk/django/__init__.py', etc. None of those paths match.
